About Me
Full stack web developer, former visual designer, polymath.
Currently seeking to work with awesome people either in an agency setting or on a product development team.
In 2016 I was on winning teams for two hackathons, 1 private invite-only event hosted by Ernst & Young and the Money 20/20 Hackathon in Las Vegas.
Over an intense weekend, we developed two react-native apps: a consumer facing mobile app, as well as a merchant point-of-sale app, combining the new Modo Payments API for travel.
I have a background in visual design and computer science, I am also a graduate of General Assembly's Web Development Immersive in early 2015.

KnowTheChain is a custom Wordpress theme at the top most level, however under the /benchmarks/ path this breaks from that architecture, utilizing a MVC pattern instead through open-source work. This project makes heavy use of Highcharts and WP MVC to accomplish these tasks. This is a visual representation of heavy data collection on KnowTheChain’s part, which was funneled though SQL queries out of the excel projects, where they compiled their data.
Matthews Asia is a custom Wordpress theme, with custom JS/PHP implementations for animations and templating. Developed a module system that allows the end user to build pages not their with predefined modules.
Custom Wordpress theme and plugins. Utilized MVC architecture to accomplish certain aspects of post authorship and content creation.
A consumer facing React-Native mobile app and a merchant point-of-sale React-Native tablet application. The consumer facing app connected users to locations using the merchant application, to facilitate using ModoPayments MintAPI. The merchant application allowed restaurants and other retail establishments to take payment though this new API.
Based on BackstopJS, this is a visual regression testing dashboard. This based on a NPM module that is usually installed inside each individual project that it’s used on. This was impractical for our needs, so I built a new node application that allowed us to have multiple instances of test units, all controlled from a admin dashboard. Integrated into our CI build process.
Deployed and maintain a custom rolled version of the open source project ownCloud. This was done to meet specific user needs and security compliances
A kiosk like application that was used to train new investors for a unnamed financial institution. This was published as both a webApp and a desktop application (utilizing node and Electron)
Web accessibility checker dashboard. Used a prelaunch check-off and for design reviews. To make sure that all products met with web accessibility standards. Integrated into our CI build process.
